We’ve taken out the lengthy sales process and made it easy peasy to own the pool of your dreams.

At Blue Haven we can’t wait to help you create a vibrant pool that is unique to you.

We plan to make the steps to building your new pool an exciting, enjoyable and easy process delivering your pool in the shortest timeframe possible.

Now more than ever, we will make it our duty to ensure its easy for you to get started so do not put your dream pool on hold.

This is the BLUE HAVEN DIFFERENCE explained in 10 easy steps!

So you know what to expect, we have outlined a few quick steps to ensure you always know where you are at:

    1. Step 1 FREE APPRAISAL & QUOTEYour Dream Pool Journey begins

      Found a design you love? It is our value and honesty policy to give you all known costs, including optional costs before you pay for pre construction services and sign your Building Agreement so you know exactly what’s included in your pool. Which for you, means NO hidden surprises. So the only surprise you get is how much you’ll love your Blue Haven Pool.
      If your land is unregistered you can reserve your favourite pool package and hold the price for unto 12 months.

    2. Step 2 PRE CONSTRUCTION PHASE
      We are totally committed to holding your hand throughout the entire process. There are lots of moving parts with local government and regulation bodies that can be tricky to navigate and co-ordinate which is why we use a dedicated team of architects, engineers, private certifiers and town planners to get through the pre construction phase.Land details are collected either from you or relevant bodies and these include:

      • Council 10.7 certificate
      • Evidence of Land Ownership
      • 88B Instrument or Draft Copy
      • DP Deposited Plan
      • Bushfire report (if applicable)
      • Flood report (if applicable)
      • Easement location & depth (if applicable)
      • Sewer location

      We can help with all or some of the above as needed if you don’t have them. Allow time and cost for these documents to be obtained.Vital information to ensure integrity of price guide and quality of design

      SOIL Type of Soil – Geo Tech Report or basic understanding of your soil conditions – Clay/Rock/Sand

      LEVELS Registered Surveyor report showing spot levels / contours

      SEWER – if building within zone of influence to sewer then Sewer Peg Out if required to show exact location and depth of asset

    3. Step 3 FINALIZE STRUCTURAL VARIATIONS AND MAJOR POOL DESIGN DECISIONS
      (We only need structural and size options at this stage, we will get to the colour selections soon)Co-ordiate any reports that your land may require

 

    1. Step 4 BUILDING APPROVALS
      We will lodge your plans with Council or a Private Certifier for approval. Also Waterboard and Mines Subsidence if applicable.

 

    1. Step 5 ELECTRICAL & GAS QUOTES
      Whilst your plans are processing for permit approval you will finalise your gas and electrical plan with external contractors. Gas & Electricals are not part of your pool quote. This will ensure that once the pool build commences that you have a confirmed position for filtration / equipment location and all the necessary plumbing works quoted for gas heating if purchased. This step can also set up any blue tooth automation, data cable set up, control plan for turning on pool lights from inside the house.

 

    1. Step 6 COPING TILE & PAVING MATERIAL SELECTIONS
      Theres going to be a certain tile that you fall in love with and they come in all shapes and sizes. Earmarking material now will ensure any coping width variations can be varied on the permit approval documents to cater for any additional hard surface areas.

 

    1. Step 7 DESIGN STUDIO
      Design studio will be in touch to book your initial walk through to familiarise yourself with all the products, finishes, textures, accessories and filtration options available to you. Bring along a copy of your chosen coping tile and any photos of the house exterior, exterior fencing, alfresco flooring colour/ texture and landscaping.
      Here we tailor final amendments and options with a final agreement ready for counter signing and construction on boarding session.

 

    1. Step 8 PROVIDE BUILDING AGREEMENT TO FINANCIAL LENDER
      Or we can help to re-finance your current home loan and re-work the pool into the home loan re-finance. We work with an in house broker who is known to get excellent re-finance results.

 

    1. Step 9 AUTHORITY TO COMMENCE CONSTRUCTION
      When approvals have been obtained and you have finalised your Design Studio selections, we are n ow ready to start preparing for the construction of your new pool.
      We will provide you with a copy of your Building Approval documentation if needed to supply to your Financial Lender.
      If you are self funded you will need to ensure that contract payments can be met on the day they fall due as we do not work past progress payments.

 

    1. Step 10 CONSTRUCTIONDuring this time, we will complete the construction plans and orders ready to pass your file to your Construction Supervisor.
      Once we are ready to start on your site, your Construction Supervisor and/or Construction Coordinator will be in contact to introduce themselves.
      From this point your Coordinator will continue to keep you informed through the construction of your new Blue Haven Pool.
      Now its time to see your dream pool come to life right before your eyes and we’re just as excited as you are!
